Immuni-tea Supporting Tea with anti-COVID/Cold/Flu Tincture

Updated: Oct 16, 2021

Some people like coffee, but I enjoy tea because there is literally a flavor of tea for every time, place, and occasion! The Sleepytime Series by Celestial Seasoning Teas is by far my favorite evening tea to help relax, unwind, and end the day.

I have been particularly enjoying incorporating these two teas by Celestial Seasoning Teas into my nightly routine:

Celestial Seasonings has been crafting teas for more than 40 years. These two wellness teas are specially formulated with herbs and botanicals to help relax, as well as boost health, wellness and support your immune system.

The Sleepytime Echinacea Immune Boost Tea includes herbs and botanicals such as:

  • echinacea- boost the immune system by increasing white blood cells, prevent and shorten colds

  • zinc- a key mineral to help repair skin, produce DNA, produce white blood cells and prevent cellular damage

  • vitamin c- an essential vitamin and excellent source of antioxidants for supporting the immune system, repairing and maintaining skin, bones, muscles, and teeth

  • elderberry extract- high in antioxidants, prevents colds and flus

  • eucalyptus- high in antioxidants, relieve colds and flus, promote relaxation

The Sleepytime Throat Tamer Tea includes herbs and botanicals such as:

  • Chamomile- reduce inflammation, promote sleep and relaxation, treat and prevent colds, reduce menstrual pain, lower blood sugar,

  • Licorice Root- promote digestion, anti cancerous properties, ease upper respiratory conditions,

  • Slippery Elm Bark- soothe cough and sore throat, soothe irritated bowels, urinary tract, heartburn and GERD

  • Tilia Estrella- promote relaxation, fight inflammation, improve sleep, soothe upset stomach

In addition to the Teas, I have added:

  • Honey- soothe throat and suppress cough, promote burn and wound healing, reduce risk of heart disease

  • Ginger- powerful antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties, helps with nausea and morning sickness, lower blood sugar, help with chronic indigestion, reduce menstrual pain, warms the stomach

  • Cinnamon- antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, contains prebiotic to improve gut health, helps to reduce blood pressure, relieves digestive discomfort, warming the stomach

  • Licorice Root-promote digestion, anti cancerous properties, ease upper respiratory conditions

  • homemade tincture to help prevent COVID/Colds/Flus: the leading herbal formula in China to fight COVID and other similar febrile flus. It is made with a combination of 21 herbs from five classical formulas which has anti-oxidant, immuno-modulation, and antiviral mechanisms. This formula clears heat from the lungs with common flu symptoms such as: fever, cough, thick yellow phlegm, chest pain, shortness of breath, and sensitivity to heat.

Don't have a tincture? No Problem! Small amounts of alcohol are good for promoting the heart and circulatory system, prevent common cold, reduce risk of gallstones and diabetes. Also, the hot water helps to burn off alcohol.
